Our Barolo holds all our commitment and passion, year by year.

JamesSuckling.com has reviewed and awarded our work, which encourage us to continue on this path bringing you what is our best expression of Barolo, the king of wines and most of all the Barolo of our fathers.

Hence the name of our Barolo was born, Patres, that express and hand down our centenary knowledge producing this wine unique in the world.

The Barolo Riserva instead, represent the continuum of Barolo ageing, with more than 36 months in big Slavonian Oak casks, obtaining in such a way the best expression of its longevity and elegance.

92 – Barolo DOCG Riserva 2015

“Lots of red-fruit character, together with hints of dried tobacco and leather, following through to a medium-to full-bodied palate with very fine, lightly firm but not chewy tannins that give the wine a chalky texture. Long, flavorful finish. Best from 2023.”

91 – Barolo DOCG Patres 2017

“A rather savory Barolo with a tight bead of red berries, together with oyster-shell and light bitter-herb notes. Medium-to full-bodied with firm tannins and some bitter citrus and spice at the end. A little rough at the edges right now, but should settle in nicely. Try after 2023.”
