SANSILVESTRO winery is commited bringing to its clients the best expression and representation of traditional wines from Piedmont. Even if we are mainly Barolo producers, there’s so much more that our unique territory has to offer. This motivates us to care and keep our other references at their best: a passion that also this year has been awarded.

• Silver Medal – Langhe DOC Favorita 2020

Light straw-yellow in colour with thiny green reflections, a fragrant and fruity perfume, definitely floral. The pleaseant scents of rennet apple exhalts the taste, which is full and nicely sourish.

• Silver Medal – Barbaresco DOCG Magno 2018

An elegant wine with an excellent structure: in a word, Magno. An elegant expression of Nebbiolo grapes, able to reach its peak after 5 or 10 years from the harvest. It can be refined even loger to let it develop ethereal and balsamic notes together with silky and round tannins.

• Gold Medal – Monferrato DOC Chiaretto 2020

We love challenge and innovation, that’s why we chose the barbera variety, so deeply linked to piedmontese tradition, and we opted for an usual vinification. Grapes are sftly pressed to avoid skin damages and grant a high quality must, which will ferment at controlled temperatures.

• Gold Medal – Piemonte DOC Barbera Organic 2019

Enthusiasm, quality withour compromises, respect for nature and the desire to put us to the test led us to our organic wines. Our Piemonte D.O.C. Barbera Organic is the result of a great work done in the vineyards accordind to biological cultivation and in the cellar, always following the tradition.
